How did I will my period away? A combination of willpower, rejecting the patriarchy, and a diet of lentils. When my yearly period comes, I use organic, woven from unicorn pelt pads. If my period is kind of heavy, I use a tampon made out of clouds and magic. So sorry, I just don’t understand this post. What I didn’t get was how all the commenters were bitching about how gross it is to use non-applicator tampons. I don’t think there’s more than one brand of applicator tampons in Australia (Tampax) and it’s not very popular. Maybe we’re just not so repressed as they are in the US
